Nereida

A Backrest That Moves With You

The Nereida chair by Fama does something most dining chairs don’t, its backrest tilts. A patent-pending articulated joint lets the back rotate with you, holding you upright and supported while you eat, then reclining to nearly 30 degrees when you shift forward for the conversation afterwards. Add softly rounded shapes, a firm, well-padded seat and a choice of three seat heights, and you have a chair that works as well at a kitchen island as it does around the dining table.

Frame: EPine wood and MDF, with NEA seat suspension and a lifetime guarantee on both.

Seat and Back: 40kg high-density polyurethane with a polyester fibre wrap on both seat and backrest. A firm, supportive sit that holds its shape. Covers are fixed rather than removable.

Guarantee: Lifetime guarantee on the frame and seat suspension. All other components carry a 3 year guarantee, extendable by a further 6 months when registered with Fama.
